After years of struggling with body dysmorphia, over-perfectionism, & obsessing with fad diets (convincing myself it was "the healthy thing to do"), I found myself completely disconnected from my body, burnt out & with a hormonal imbalance. I knew there had to be a more fulfilling way to live …
Before becoming a certified health coach & holistic nutritionist, I worked in the fast-paced worlds of fashion & PR, where I witnessed firsthand the struggles many face with body image & their relationship with food, me included. Feeling overwhelmed in my own busy lifestyle, I found myself burnt out, stressed & completely disconnected from my body, eventually causing a hormonal imbalance. This inspired me to take a leap & go back to school to learn more about health & true holistic wellbeing.
This led me into a journey of self-discovery. I started living more intuitively, setting aside what I "should do," choosing foods for their nutritional value, & incorporating supplements & alternative healing methods. This shift helped me recognize the importance of my mental & emotional health, a challenging yet transformative process. by aligning & balancing my body, mind, emotions, & heart, I reconnected with myself. I learned to listen to my body's signals & its inherent wisdom, thus regaining confidence in myself & my intuition.
Through my own journey I've realized that true health extends beyond food & exercise; it encompasses every aspect of our lives, from our thoughts & emotions, our relationship with ourselves & others; to our daily habits, what gives us joy & spiritual practices. This holistic approach is the essence of my work.
Italian & Mediterranean living influence & inspiration
My approach to health & wellness is also deeply influenced by the Italian & Mediterranean way of life. While I was born & raised in Mexico, & have spent significant time in the USA, living in Italy for the past 12 years has profoundly shaped who i.am & how I live.
I have embraced the values of simplicity, quality, balance & slow living that define the Mediterranean lifestyle. My multicultural experiences have taught me that healthy living is universal — regardless of where you are in the world, the principles of quality ingredients & mindful living remain the same.
